Victoria, British Columbia - April 4, 2023 - Victoria United Soccer Club is excited to announce Derek deGroot as the new team manager for the upcoming Pacific Coast Soccer League (PCSL) season.
With over a decade of experience in the soccer industry, deGroot brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Victoria United. His experience includes coaching and player development with VicWest FC, where he also served as an head coach and technical director.
"I am thrilled to be joining the Victoria United team as their new manager," said deGroot. "I have had the pleasure of being a part of this organization in the past as a player and I am excited to return in a new capacity. I look forward to working with the coaching staff and players to achieve our goals for the season."
As team manager, deGroot will be responsible for leading and guiding the team to success both on and off the field. He will be working closely with the coaching staff and players to ensure that the team performs to the best of their abilities and represents Victoria United with pride and excellence.
